Scale
For the Chicken Tenders:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Prepare Coating Stations: In separate shallow dishes, set up one with the flour and seasonings, one with the eggs and water, and one with the panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Cook: Lightly spray the coated tenders with olive oil spray and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
- You can substitute chicken breasts cut into strips if tenders are unavailable.
