- 1 prepared angel food cake (store-bought or homemade), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- vegetable oil for frying (if deep-frying)
Instructions
- Cut the Angel Food Cake: Cut the angel food cake into bite-sized cubes.
- Mix Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar and set aside.
- Option 1 – Air Fryer or Oven: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) or oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly brush cake cubes with melted butter. Air fry for 4–5 minutes or bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Toss warm cake bites in cinnamon sugar.
- Option 2 – Deep Frying: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry cake cubes for 30–45 seconds until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and coat with cinnamon sugar while warm.
