For the pasta:
- 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
For the sauce:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or seafood stock
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 8 oz cooked lobster meat, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- salt and black pepper to taste
- extra lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain.
- Prepare the sauce: Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes, then pour in wine or stock. Simmer and add lemon juice and lobster.
- Combine: Toss cooked pasta in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water if needed. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Serve: Garnish with lemon wedges and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra richness, stir in 2 tablespoons of heavy cream before adding the pasta.
- Traditionally, seafood pasta is served without cheese.
