Salmon:
- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Shrimp:
- 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Other:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon and Shrimp: Pat dry the salmon fillets and shrimp. Mix Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice mixture on the salmon and shrimp.
- Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked.
- Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, cook shrimp in butter for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
- Finish and Serve: Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp and salmon, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
- Adjust spice level to taste.
