  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

For the Biscuits:

  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Biscuits: Preheat oven and bake biscuits according to package directions; set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk and cream until smooth. Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. Season and Add Shrimp: Stir in Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until pink and cooked through.
  4. Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and stir in green onions and parsley. To serve, split the warm biscuits and spoon the creamy shrimp mixture over each half.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sauté a bit of minced garlic or chopped celery with the butter before adding flour.
