Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients:
- 2 large apples (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji, peeled and cut into fry-shaped sticks)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with cinnamon and sugar.
- Coat Apple Sticks: Dip each apple stick into the flour, then into the egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture, pressing gently to help it stick.
- Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. Lightly spray the basket with nonstick spray. Place the coated apple fries in a single layer in the basket (work in batches if needed) and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm!
Notes
