- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/3 cup water
For Assembling Tacos:
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
- Vegetable oil for frying
Toppings (optional):

Instructions
- Prepare the Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened. Add garlic, then ground beef, and cook until browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in seasonings, tomato paste, and water. Simmer until thickened.
- Assemble the Tacos: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Fill tortillas with cheese and beef mixture, fold in half, and fry until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve: Top crispy tacos with desired toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly brush tortillas with oil before frying.
- You can also bake the assembled tacos at 400°F for 10–12 minutes instead of frying.
