- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup buttermilk or milk

Instructions
- Preheat: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F or oven to 425°F.
- Prepare Coating: In a shallow bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat Okra: Toss the okra in buttermilk until lightly coated. Dredge the okra pieces in the cornmeal mixture, pressing lightly so the coating sticks.
- Cook: Arrange the okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket or on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Lightly spray with oil. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
