Cheese Bites:
- 8 oz block of mozzarella or cheddar cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- vegetable oil for frying
For Dipping:
- marinara or ranch dressing
Instructions
- Cut the cheese into cubes: Freeze the cheese cubes for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
- Prepare breading station: Set up three bowls with flour, beaten eggs with milk, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
- Bread the cheese: Dip each cube in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat egg and breadcrumb coating.
- Fry the cheese: Heat oil to 350°F, fry the cheese bites in batches for 30–60 seconds until golden brown.
- Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.

- Freezing cheese cubes before frying prevents melting too quickly.
