Description

Cheese Bites:

  • 8 oz block of mozzarella or cheddar cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • vegetable oil for frying

For Dipping:

  • marinara or ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Cut the cheese into cubes: Freeze the cheese cubes for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
  2. Prepare breading station: Set up three bowls with flour, beaten eggs with milk, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
  3. Bread the cheese: Dip each cube in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat egg and breadcrumb coating.
  4. Fry the cheese: Heat oil to 350°F, fry the cheese bites in batches for 30–60 seconds until golden brown.
  5. Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.
