Description

This Frito Chili Cheese Dip is a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties or game day. Creamy and cheesy with a hint of spice, it pairs perfectly with crunchy Fritos for a delicious snack everyone will love.

Chili Cheese Dip:

  • 1 can (15 oz) chili with no beans
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced green chilies (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

For Serving:

  • 1 bag (9.25 oz) Fritos corn chips
  • Chopped green onions or jalapeños for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare the dip: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in the chili, green chilies, garlic powder, and onion powder. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Bake: Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  4. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions or jalapeños. Serve warm with Fritos for dipping.
