Chili Cheese Dip:
- 1 can (15 oz) chili with no beans
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced green chilies (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
For Serving:
- 1 bag (9.25 oz) Fritos corn chips
- Chopped green onions or jalapeños for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the dip: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in the chili, green chilies, garlic powder, and onion powder. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake: Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions or jalapeños. Serve warm with Fritos for dipping.
Notes
- For extra heat, use spicy chili or add hot sauce.
- This dip can be made in a slow cooker on low for 2–3 hours.
