For the chicken & steak:
- 1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1/2 pound sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
For the mashed potatoes:
- 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare meat: Toss chicken and steak strips with olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Arrange in a baking dish.
- Add cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan over the meat, then top with mozzarella. Bake until cooked through.
- Make mashed potatoes: Boil potatoes, then mash with sour cream, milk, butter, cheddar, bacon, and onions. Season.
- Serve: Serve the loaded mashed potatoes with the garlic parmesan chicken and steak. Garnish as desired.
Notes
- You can use pre-cooked mashed potatoes or rotisserie chicken for a quicker meal.
- Feel free to swap steak for pork if preferred.
