Ingredients
Scale
Pizza Dough
- 1 batch 2-ingredient pizza dough
Fillings
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup pizza toppings (such as mushrooms, olives, and peppers)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Finishing
- Milk (for brushing, optional)
- Additional Italian herbs (for sprinkling, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a large baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleaning.
- Prepare and Roll the Dough: Prepare your gluten free 2-ingredient pizza dough, then roll it out into a rectangular shape about 12 inches long and 6 inches wide, making sure the thickness is even.
- Add the Sauce and Toppings: Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving approximately half an inch clear around the edges. Add your chosen pizza toppings, then sprinkle the shredded cheese and Italian seasoning over the top.
- Roll and Slice: Starting from the long side, carefully roll the dough tightly until completely rolled up. Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into 12 to 16 even pieces, creating bite-sized pizza rolls.
- Arrange on a Baking Tray: Lay the sliced pizza rolls on the prepared baking tray with some space between each. If you like, brush the tops and sides lightly with milk to help them brown beautifully during baking.
- Bake: Place the tray in the oven and bake the pizza rolls for 15 to 17 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Once baked, sprinkle additional Italian herbs over the warm rolls for added flavor.
- Serve: Let the pizza rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature as a tasty snack or appetizer.
