For the Hot Honey Rim:
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 2 tablespoons Tajín seasoning
- Lime wedges for rimming
For the Margarita:
- 2 cups frozen mango chunks
- 1/2 cup silver tequila
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 cup hot honey syrup (made by mixing equal parts hot honey and warm water)
- Ice as needed
Instructions
- Prepare the Rim: Pour the Tajín seasoning onto a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rims of two glasses, then dip the rims into the Tajín to coat.
- Blend the Margarita: In a blender, combine the frozen mango chunks, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and hot honey syrup. Blend until smooth, adding ice as needed to reach desired thickness.
- Adjust and Serve: Taste and adjust sweetness or heat by adding more hot honey or a pinch of Tajín. Pour into the prepared glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of Tajín and a lime wedge. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a few slices of fresh jalapeño to the blender.
- You can also use fresh mango, but add extra ice to chill and thicken the drink.
