Description

These Juicy Grilled Cheeseburger Sliders are perfect bite-sized burgers, packed with flavorful ground beef seasoned with Worcestershire sauce and spices. Grilled to perfection with melted cheddar cheese and served on toasted slider buns with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and your favorite condiments, they make a delicious and easy meal for gatherings or a casual dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Burger Patties

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Slider Assembly

  • 6 slider-sized hamburger buns
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced onions
  • Pickle slices
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, taking care not to overwork the meat to keep the patties tender.
  2. Form Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each into a small patty slightly larger than the slider buns, as they will shrink during grilling.
  3. Preheat Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high, aiming for a temperature between 375°F and 400°F to ensure a good sear.
  4. Grill Patties – First Side: Place the patties on the hot grill, close the lid, and cook for 3-4 minutes without moving to develop a flavorful crust.
  5. Flip & Add Cheese: Flip the patties, top each with a slice of cheddar cheese, then continue grilling for another 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the burgers reach your preferred doneness.
  6. Toast Buns: In the last minute of grilling, place the slider buns cut-side down on the grill to toast until golden brown.
  7. Assemble Sliders: Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with a lettuce leaf, a grilled cheeseburger patty, sliced tomato, sliced onion, and pickle slices.
  8. Top & Serve: Complete the slider with the top bun and gently press together. Serve immediately to enjoy the sliders warm and juicy.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overmix the beef to keep patties juicy and tender.
  • The patties should be slightly larger than the buns as they shrink during grilling.
  • Adjust grilling time according to desired doneness.
  • Customize toppings and condiments to your taste.
  • Serve with your favorite side dishes like fries or coleslaw for a complete meal.
