Ingredients

Pasta:

1 pound ziti pasta

Meat Sauce:

1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 pound Italian sausage or ground beef, 1 small onion diced, 3 cloves garlic minced, 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce, 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cheese Mixture:

8 ounces cream cheese softened, 1 cup ricotta cheese, 1 cup sour cream, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet, brown sausage and onion, add garlic, then stir in sauces and seasonings. Simmer.
  4. Mix cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth.
