  • 4 hot cross buns, chopped into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup raisins or sultanas

Glaze Cross:

  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1–2 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slice: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Combine chopped hot cross buns in a bowl.
  2. Melt Ingredients: In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter, condensed milk, and white chocolate until smooth.
  3. Add Flavors: Remove from heat, add vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and raisins. Mix well.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Pour over bun pieces, mix to coat evenly. Press into dish and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
  5. Prepare Glaze: Mix icing sugar with milk to form a thick glaze. Pipe crosses over the set slice.
