Ingredients
Scale
Fudge Base
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Fruit Toppings
- ½ cup crushed pineapple, well-drained
- 8-10 maraschino cherries, halved and patted dry
Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Dish: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it to ensure the fudge does not stick.
- Melt the Fudge Base: In a saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until all ingredients melt and the mixture is smooth.
- Mix Ingredients: Remove the pan from heat and immediately stir in the instant vanilla pudding mix, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well until the batter is smooth and uniform.
- Add the Fruit: Gently fold in the well-drained crushed pineapple and the halved, patted-dry maraschino cherries to evenly distribute the fruit without breaking it apart.
- Set the Fudge: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the surface with a spatula. Place it in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, or until the fudge is firm and set.
- Slice & Serve: Once the fudge is fully set and firm, lift it out of the dish using the parchment paper. Cut into 16 equal squares and serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- Make sure the pineapple is well-drained to avoid extra moisture in the fudge.
- Patted dry cherries help prevent sogginess and keep the fudge firm.
- The fudge should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consumed within a week for optimal freshness.
- You can line the pan with foil instead of parchment paper if preferred.
- For a more intense vanilla flavor, use pure vanilla bean paste instead of extract.
