- 14 oz smoked sausage (such as kielbasa), sliced into rounds
Peppers and Onions:
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced

Seasonings and Rice:
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Brown the Sausage: Heat olive oil in a skillet, brown the sliced sausage for 5–6 minutes. Set aside.
- Sauté Peppers and Onions: In the same pan, cook peppers and onion for 4–5 minutes until soft. Add garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute.
- Add Rice and Broth: Stir in rice, then pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 15–18 minutes until rice is cooked.
- Combine and Garnish: Return sausage to the pan, heat through for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
