Instructions

  1. Dough Preparation: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  2. Kneading and Rising: Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  3. Filling and Rolling: Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Roll the dough into a 12×16 inch rectangle. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, then sprinkle chopped strawberries on top. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal rolls.
