Strawberry Topping:

  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Egg Wash:

  • 1 large egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water

Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Cream Cheese Filling: In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Prepare Pastry: Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface, cut into 4 squares, and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Assemble Danishes: Spread cream cheese mixture, strawberry jam, and fresh strawberries on each square. Fold corners towards the center, brush with egg wash, and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
  5. Make Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar with milk to create a glaze. Drizzle over cooled danishes.
