- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, beat vegan butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Mix in maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Combine wet and dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until a soft dough forms. Fold in sliced almonds.
- Prepare pan and bake: Press the dough into the pan, sprinkle with slivered almonds and turbinado sugar, then bake for 22–25 minutes until golden. Cool before slicing into bars.
