Description

Beef Filling:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Slider Assembly:

  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • sliced pickles (optional)
  • shredded lettuce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown the beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain any excess grease.
  3. Prepare the filling: Stir in the dry onion soup mix and cook for 2 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  4. Mix the sauce: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, and cheddar cheese. Add the beef mixture and stir.
  5. Assemble sliders: Place bottom halves of buns in a baking dish, spoon beef mixture over them, add pickles and lettuce (if desired), then top with bun halves.
  6. Season and bake: Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and sesame seeds. Brush over sliders. Bake covered for 15 minutes, then uncovered for 5-7 minutes until golden.
