Beef Filling:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Slider Assembly:
- 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- sliced pickles (optional)
- shredded lettuce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Brown the beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain any excess grease.
- Prepare the filling: Stir in the dry onion soup mix and cook for 2 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Mix the sauce: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, and cheddar cheese. Add the beef mixture and stir.
- Assemble sliders: Place bottom halves of buns in a baking dish, spoon beef mixture over them, add pickles and lettuce (if desired), then top with bun halves.
- Season and bake: Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and sesame seeds. Brush over sliders. Bake covered for 15 minutes, then uncovered for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!
